Artist discussion: Pansee Abou ElAtta and Sara Sallam: In this discussion-style panel followed by a Q&A, Sallam and Abou ElAtta discuss their recent projects which re-think archaeological conceptualizations of Egypt. Re-inserting indigenous bodies and imperial histories into otherwise unconteted archival images, their practices challenge received understandings of Egyptology, museology, and the colonial past.
